I, Marimuel Gen V. Irangan, taking AB Multimedia Arts in the school of
De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, is asking for your consideration
on letting me take a Leave of Absence (LOA) instead of being in
Absence Without Leave (AWOL) due to the reasons stated below.
This started the second term of school year 2014-2015 where I have
not submitted papers of Leave of Absence. Since this is strictly against
on the memorandum of agreement on being a scholar, my scholarship
almost ended. So before the new semester started, I took my chances
to file an appeal on Student Grants Office (SGO)
Directed by Miss Sopia Caccam. Because of her understanding
personality, she gave me very well advices, honored my situation, and
submitted my situation to the office of the president and her boss. We
waited for the two decisions if I am still accepted as a scholar or not.
Because of the waiting period, I was not able to make my enlistment
for the next term or file an LOA. The result that I was granted another
chance to still be a scholar just came after the deadline of submission
of LOA.
As the transition term, I want to come back this term to redeem the
time I have spent and somehow wasted. I would like to come back to
school again for the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom and instructions. I
would like to go back again and finish what I have started, to be a
Benildean who stands firm even though who was once knocked out.
