TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
South Africa Summer of 2006
I traveled to South Africa to do humanitarian work for a school in the Durban/Pietermaritzburg
area. I was given the opportunity to volunteer in construction, assist in the office and library, as
well as take a textbook inventory. I worked closely with South Africans to help teach about
technology and computer skills. We also traveled around the KwaZulu-Natal area and
experienced many different aspects of their culture and traditions.
