*GROUP DYNAMICS

*First encounter (80 mins): explaining the project


-Step 1: Students are introduced to the short
story The Fruitcake Special
-Step 2: Teacher explains that students have to
produce a film of 5 minutes duration based on
selected scene in the story.
-Step 3: Students are divided into groups and
assigned with a scene each.
-Step 4: Teacher asks students to bring their own
props.

*TIMING (2 weeks)

*Second meeting (80 mins):


-Step 1: Each group study their
respective scene and come up
with their own dialogues.
-Step 2: Students distribute their
roles.
-Step 3: Students memorize their
lines and discuss how to act the
scenes.

*TIMING (2 weeks)

*Third meeting (80 mins): Filming the scenes


- Step 1: Teacher allows student to film their scene
at a specified location.

*Fourth meeting (80 mins): Each group takes turn


to project their film to the class.
*Teacher asks the other groups to give comments
and feedback.
