THE VIOLENCE IN TELEVISION PROGRAMS ARE AFFECTING TO THE

YOUNG PEOPLE

The wide variety of television programs with violence, the influence of soap
operas and many cartoons are serious problems facing young today. What can
we do, then, to help young people to see more educational television programs?

First of all, it would be a good idea to encourage young people to get involved in
watching educational
television
programs, especially
science and
technology. The result would be a stronger culture to educational TV and less
violence among young.

Second, steps should be taken in order to solve the problem of the influence of
soap operas. The situation could be improve if the TV programmers come
down at least 50%of these programs. If this happened, young people would be
less time watching programs with content that incites violence.

Finally, efforts should be made so that the cartoons do not cause a

greater negative influence on young people. A useful suggestion would be to
create community programs that involved young people to realize recreational
activities. If this was done, young people occupy their free time in activities
different from television.

There are many ways to make our violence-laden television does not
influence in the minds of our young. Adopting of new activities such as
recreation and sport, adopting of new activities such as recreation and sport,
certainly would be result in healthy minds for our young.
