Passive with tenses

We use passive voice with:


Simple present
Simple past

The form of present simple in passive

To make a present simple sentence
with passive voice:
1_we put the object first.
2_we put the verb be according to the
object that we have.
3_we put the past participle.
4_we dont put the agent which is the
subject because its not necessary,
unknown or obvious.

_People make pasta in Italy. (Simple present or active
sentence)

_Pasta is made in Italy (by people). (Simple present with


passive voice)

according to the object that we have.

For example
_They sold the car yesterday. (Simple past or active
sentence)

_The car was sold yesterday (by them). (Simple past with
passive sentence)
