Dear: Ms. Helms

In 2014 about 72,000 college students have been diagnosed with cancer, thats
1 every 8 minutes. Every eight minutes another college student is diagnosed with
cancer it could be a Bearcat. The American Cancer Society is hosting its 30th
anniversary Relay for Life event September 11th, 2015 at 6p.m. at Beal Park
right here in Maryville.
We are informing you of this because we hope the Accounting Society will be a part
of our event this year. Most teams consist of 12-15 team members, each member
taking one hour out of their day to help save a life. Each member of your team can
walk at any time between 6p.m to 6 a.m. During this time it would be a great time
for your team to network and get some exercise while having fun. The entry fee is
$10 to $15 per team member that participates. This would be another chance for
you to get your name out there by finding a local business to sponsor your team this
would also save. Youre Society and a local business some money, since the
business can claim a 501(C) 3 which is tax exempt for them.

cancer, please support our cause, please visit our website at the bottom of this
page by September 10th, 2015, make a team, and save the lives of your
