The scientist, by the very nature of his commitment, creates more and more questions never
fewer. Indeed the measure of our intellectual maturity, one philosopher suggests, is our capacity
to feel less and less satisfied with our answers to better problems. Gordon W. Allport

Mandatory Tutoring and Quiz Retake

Policy
If students score below a 70% on a quiz, they are
REQUIRED to attend a mandatory tutoring to
retake the quiz. The tutoring session is 30
minutes and 15 minutes to complete the quiz.
They may choose between 1 of the four times or
make special arrangements to attend 3
nutritions in a row. If absent, make up when you
return.

!Tutoring times: nutrition, lunch

Retake times:
Tues following a quiz the previous week:
During nutrition, lunch, after school

It is your responsibility to use the bathroom during

nutrition or passing periods. In case of emergencies,
students may use the bathroom but must serve 5
minutes detention at nutrition or after school to make
up time missed in class. 3 tickets may allow you to
purchase a bathroom pass.
CO NSE QUENC ES :
For those being disruptive during class:
1st offense: Verbal Warning
2nd offense: 15 minute teacher detention
3rd offense: Asked to sit outside, parent phone call and
30 min teacher detention.
4th offense: Office referral.
DETE NTI ON / CHEATI NG :
There is a detention clip board in class on the right
hand side of the white board. If you serve detention,
you must write in day and time that best suits your
schedule on the clipboard. Detentions must be served
the same week assigned. If missed, it will be doubled.
Cheating in any form will give you a zero on the
assignment and a referral to the office.
