UE CBA Profs and Seniors Attain Events Management Certification

Congratulations to the UE College of Business Administration-Manila (UE CBA

Manila) team that successfully earned the Technical Education and Skills
Development Authority (TESDA) Assessment for Events Management National
Certification-Supervisory Level (NC III)!
The UE CBA Manila team membersnine professors and eight graduating Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), major in Business Management
studentsattained their respective certificates on March 25, 2015, at the RCTI
Training and Assessment Corporation in Manila, as certified by Assessor Consuelo
Canoza. It was the RCTI, under TESDAs sponsorship, that invited UE to take part in
applying for the certification.
The assessment for NC III serves to certify a persons supervisory level in terms of
events management, particularly onsite events management services. In effect, the
newly TESDA-certified UE CBA students and professors skills in planning and
executing events for clients are now formally certified and of a supervisory level, at
par with national and international standards in terms of providing events
management services.
The UE CBA Manila team prepared its event proposal and concept for two hours and
then successfully defended it, satisfactorily complying with all of the requirements
and clients needs.
The newly NC III-certified UE CBA Manila Faculty Members are the Colleges Dean
herself, Prof. Veronica N. Elizalde, Prof. Cherry D. Comia, Prof. Eliseo M. Tampon, Prof.
Milagros C. Barba, Prof. Jayme C. Ignacio, Prof. Cristilita D. Lumilan, Prof. Henrieto R.
Junio, Prof. Carolyn DG. Castillo and Prof. Nora N. Rodriguez.
The newly NC III-certified students, who are all graduating at UEs yearend
commencement rites on April 16, 2015, are Ms. Lourene N. Ramas, Ms. Melorina F.
Mendoza, Mr. Juan Angelo C. Berania, Mr. Adrian A. Bismanos, Ms. Anne Jeanette A.
Pineda, Ms. Kristine Joy J. Roldan, Mr. Emmichael F. Navalan and Mr. Robert S.
Mariano Jr.
