What are my goals for continued

professional development?
1. I would like to gain experience and
knowledge for education above the
primary/junior level.

What strategies will I employ to achieve

my goals?
I plan to get my intermediate qualifications
and volunteer with different ages of
children in intermediate level classrooms.

How will I know that I have achieved or

am progressing towards my goals?
I will achieve comfort in classrooms above
the primary/junior level. I will attain
knowledge of how to properly run an
intermediate classroom.

2. I would like to broaden my area of

expertise so that I have more to offer as an
educator.

I would like to gain some additional

qualifications (Phys. Ed., Music) in order
to diversify what I am able to bring to the
table as an educator.

I will see progress towards my goal as I

achieve further qualifications and become
comfortable teaching a wide variety of
subject matter.

3. I would like to become more involved in

the Greater Essex County school
community.

I will volunteer my time at different

schools and provide assistance in
classrooms, as well as with extra curricular
activities.

I will know I am reaching my goal if I am

able to be in schools volunteering at least
once every week.
