Self Reflection Summary



After reviewing the feedback forms I was extremely pleased with the
responses. I was not only satisfied with the positive feedback, but also with the
suggestions to improve the quality and effectiveness of my presentation. The
opportunity to receive feedback from like-minded individuals is extremely
beneficial and important to improve my skills. As an instructional leader, I spend
much of my time communicating information; therefore, being able to receive
feedback will only help me improve my presentation skills.
Some of the positive comments received about my presentation of self-
reflection and learning are; Cool presentation slides, attention to detail, Excellent
respondent pool, presentation was clear and to the point, I like your honesty about
how you thought about putting your survey, good eye contact and directing
comments to audience, Using paper pencil for parents, very tangible and realistic
goals, The visual of the survey in your presentation was very helpful, very nice use
of a variety of graphs, Awesome job, it is evident that you are a great leader, and
Great intro to explain thinking, it captures the attention of the audience, good
summary of next steps.
The feedback received of some of the areas I need to focus on to improve my
presentation skills are; adding a few key words and phrases to connect audience to
visuals and content areas, improving graphs and charts to make them easier to read,
and include and explain some of the strongest and weaker areas of the CPSELs. The
feedback received will help me become a proficient presenter, thus allowing me to
become a skilled instructional leader when presenting information to my staff.
