OUR STORY
The continuously increasing numbers of Muslims in Tompkins County and the
high demand for families and students to have a center where Muslims can
gather, socialize and learn encourged us to gather some money every month
and rent a small space.

We founded the Islamic Community Outreach Services, which opened a Sunday

School. More than 30 kids gather every Sunday to read Quran and learn Arabic.
However, the small space limits the number of people who can attend and the
variety of the activities we can hold.
The idea of having an independant Islamic center was developed 25 years ago.
Over the years the Muslim community managed to raise enough money to
purchase the land.
All gratitude to Allah, we purchased a land of 1 acre!

THE DREAM NOW IS TO BUILD THE CENTER...

The Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said:

Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrows nest
or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.
