much the same as last month. The Foundation has roughly $4000.00 in their General Foundation Funds.
Approval of Funds for Insurance: It was decided to keep the insurance policy the same as last year.
HaveA-Heart Phone-a-thon: Colleen Kleege reported that even though we were unable to contact many
families, had limited volunteers and had to cancel the second day of outreach, it is definitely a drive worth
having again, it was suggested to maybe do it at the beginning of the school year and have students help
with the calls.
Scholarships to Seniors: Colleen Kleege suggested we sponsor one or two of the scholarships offered
through the PTSA efforts to solicit applicants. Fletch wanted to assure that the CHS Foundation receive
credit for its donation. Nevin Kleege suggested that we allocate money, but wait until next year to offer the
scholarship due to lack of foundation volunteers to develop criteria, and then solicit and evaluate
applicants. Patty Moreau and Colleen Kleege will contact Heidi Fulton ( PTSA) and discuss the
logistics of the Foundation sponsoring scholarships. (Foundation Scholarships would be available to all
CHS seniors)
AOB Intern to design Website/Marketing Plan: Colleen Kleege will be interviewing AOB interns on
