Gods not Dead; Hes Surely Alive

Harold Cronk, an American director brings up another movie about an

argument of the existence of God. Gods not Dead, is a 2014 Christian drama film
released on theaters last March 21, 2014 by Pure Flix Entertainment.
Josh Wheaton role by Shane Harper, a Christian college student, enrolls in a
philosophy class taught by Professor Jeffrey Radisson played by Kevin Sorbo, an
atheist, who demands that his students sign a declaration that "God is dead" to get
a passing grade. Josh is the only student in the class who refuses to sign and is then
required by Radisson to debate the topic with him, with the class members deciding
who wins.
This film really served as an inspiration for everyone especially to those who
are in the verge of losing hope. In this film, faith and standing up for what you
believe is really discussed. The music and theme songs are certainly good and
appropriate for the movie. Plus the fact that the actors and actresses of the film act
their roles remarkably and they all shone in their respective roles. Furthermore, this
movie truly deserves applause.
After it has been released in theaters, the film has been panned by critics,
currently holding a score of 16 out of 100 on Metacritic indicating "overwhelming
dislike", based on six critics, and a rating of 17% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 18
reviews as of May 2014. Writing for The A.V. Club, Todd VanDerWerff gave the film a
D-, saying "Even by the rather lax standards of the Christian film industry, God's Not
Dead is a disaster. It's an uninspired amble past a variety of Christian-email-forward
bogeymen that feels far too long at just 113 minutes". Although critically panned,
the film has met with significant success at the box office. The movie has gained a
worldwide total of $62 million, against the $2 million budget.
Atheists say that no one can prove the existence of God. But I say no one
can disprove that God exists, this quote said by Josh Wheaton from the movie is
really wonderfully quoted. Despite that this movie is critically panned; Gods not
Dead is a movie that will strengthen your faith and will encourage you to share your
faith more, is well worth your 113 minutes of watching.
