God’s Not Dead (Reaction Paper)

This movie contains many characters with numerous challenges experienced, and this is the

intense portion where I am always interested to watch and see how these individuals will handle the

continuous problems involving their trust in God. If it had only been these two primary actors, Shane

Harper and Kevin Sorbo, who play Josh Wheaton and Prof. Radisson, respectively, the movie would

be uninteresting and not as exciting to watch. The movie's several plot threads created tension and

maintained my attention as I saw how the characters fit into the scenario. The video accomplished

several things, the most important of which was to demonstrate the need of being courageous in

standing up for one's religion. Many opponents of religion in God are hesitant to remain firm in their

beliefs due to criticism and hostility. The film depicts many people's viewpoints on the existence of a

supreme entity or a creator. According to Josh Wheaton, who debated his professor, God exists and

he is the One responsible for creating our world, but his teacher, Prof. Jeffrey Radisson, believes

that God does not exist and that he deliberately denies the existence of a creator, and also provokes

his student to write a letter saying that God is dead, which Josh never intended to write. People

nowadays are drifting away from God because of many disappointments that they may discover

anyplace, they may see God as not kind and cruel and used to assume that God is different from

their own plights, tragically they lost trust and they mistakenly lay unreasonable expectations on God.

My anticipation for this film reminds me of the importance of defending our beliefs.

Regardless of the numerous unpleasant conditions we experience in life, we must somehow know

that God will help you fight those struggles in life and will teach you that only through him do you
have the power to conquer those who stand against you and your confidence in him. Aside from my

expectations, we know that most of the supporting people have numerous stories to share, but the

focus and attention of most of their stories is partially centered on God, the Loving Creator who will

always accept you for who you are and will never find fault in you. Everything likely ends out that

those characters learn to know God and have a connection with him. God can change the impossible

into the achievable; he can turn your trials into blessings, your worst into best, your hatred into love,

and your fears into trust.
