Erratic- Adjective. Deviating from the usual or proper course in conduct or opinion;
eccentric; queer: The erratic behavior of Joe had his mother worried.
Illegible- Adjective. Impossible or hard to read. My brothers handwriting is
completely illegible.
Subjugate- Verb. To enslave or bring under complete control.
Alien- Noun. A foreigner, or extraterrestrial. When we first arrived we were aliens
living in a strange country.
Expulsion- Noun. The state of being expelled. The students expulsion from school
did not sit well with his parents.
Jeer- Verb. To scoff or taunt. He jeered and mocked at the speaker because he did not
agree with the speakers opinions.
Sully- Verb. To soil, stain, or tarnish. To sully ones reputation easier one must simply
insert a well-placed rumor.
Comely- Adjective. Pleasant in appearance. Attractive. The girl with the comely face
sat on the bench on the far end of the caf.
Feint- Verb or Noun. To make a deceptive move. Or a deceptive move. The feint of
his emotions concealed how he truly felt about the subject.
Lucrative- Adjective. Profitable. He received a lucrative job offer at the Courthouse
today.
