Executive Summary
This proposal outlines Art Wheel's plan for implementing an effective way to increase
attendance at and partner participation in the Fargo Art Marathon. It strives to develop
marketing strategies that target students and young adults and families with children.
Additionally, our plan outlines ways to incentivize artist participation in the Art
Marathon, and seeks to develop a practical, sustainable solution.

Objectives

Our primary objective is to increase partner and audience participation throughout the
Art Marathon in a way that best utilizes the human capital of TAP. We will also meet
the following secondary objectives:
Streamline marketing strategies and practices.
Achieve collaboration between partners and audience members.
Assess progress to build on foundational achievements-reward.

Methods

ArtWheels pragmatic methods will allow us to answer an integral question: How can
The Arts Partnership increase partner participation in and attendance of the Art
Marathon?
Open a continual dialogue with partners about Art Marathon participation,
including ways to troubleshoot any roadblocks partners may encounter.
Provide incentives to encourage partner participation in the Art Marathon.
Decrease the cost of attending to increase young adult's attendance of Art
Marathon events.
Add cohesion events throughout the Art Marathon to facilitate collaboration and
celebration of local art.

Qualifications

ArtWheel is dedicated to the local culture of Fargo/Moorhead, and maintains a strong

connection to the area arts community. Our focus on expanding arts communities, as
well as our employees experience in diverse fields makes us uniquely qualified to help
TAP grow the Art Marathon.
