Sunken Treasure Chest

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Time to Complete: Approximately 15 minutes

Level: Easy

GETTING STARTED

Materials:
Metal-edged ruler (optional)
Butter knife
Scissors or X-ACTO knife
Cutting mat (optional)
Multipurpose glue

Be sure to follow the printing instructions for

double-sided printing when you download
your artwork.

Score: Using a metal ruler as a guide, run

the back side of a butter knife firmly along
all of the dotted lines.

Using scissors or an X-ACTO knife and cutting

mat, cut out all pieces on the solid lines, including
two cut lines on upper and lower part of the
chests lock.

ASSEMBLE YOUR TREASURE CHEST

Chest bottom: Fold white tabs inward on one side, then pull up
side and glue to inside of front and back. Repeat with other side.
Allow to dry completely.

Glue long white tab on chest top to inside back edge of chest bottom.

Chest top: On one side, dab glue on short white tabs and curve top
down to meet them. Repeat on other side. Allow to dry completely.

Fill chest with candy or other treats, then insert chest lock on top of
chest into bottom cut (from the inside out) and allow flap to latch.
