Introduction: A company needs a good logo to be successful. A well-done logo conveys the
businesss industry, as well as invites customers to buy from that business. A logo helps people
remember and quickly recognize a business. Without a logo, a company will not be well known
or recognized.
Goal: In this project, the goal is to practice Adobe Illustrator skills and to use the ADDIE model
by creating a logo for the new company Swift Creek Fabrication. Through this project, I will
learn to identify CMYK color codes, create professional looking logos, and organize my work
with manageable deadlines.
Client: The client for this project is Swift Creek Fabrication, a new company specializing in
welding and skyscrapers. Swift Creek Fabrication needs a logo that will look professional and
attractive.
Scope: This product will take about a week and will create a logo for Swift Creek Fabrication.
Target Audience: The target audience is manly comprised of CEOs looking to expand their
office space with a new skyscraper. This will reflect what the design looks like, since many of
the customers will have a lot of money, so the logo will play to that.
Limitation: One limitation to this is that I can only use Adobe Illustrator, of which I have a
limited knowledge. Another limitation is that Swift Creek has no previous logos to build off of,
so I have to come up with something completely original.
Finished Products: The finished product is a logo for Swift Creek Fabrication, and it is very
important. Swift Creek Fabrication will need to be able to use their logo on everything from their
website to their business cards.

Storyboards: I made 3 sketches in Adobe Illustrator. For the logos, I used green colors for
wealth and for the environment and blue for professionalism.
