DAC curve was not able to optimize the echo response from side drill hole of 6x 14.3mmWT reference block due to the following reason,

The available transducers shoes are shaped to suit diameter 8, so separate set of transducer need to be arrange for 6 diameter.

Existing transducers are shaped to suit diameter 8

Even we have tried with this transducer to develop DAC for 6x 14.3mmWT reference block, and we have got reasonable response, but still
need to be optimize the echo response with suitable shoe shape to suit 6 diameter.

6. Status of Procedure Qualification (PQR) of 10 dia of 625 clad ASTM A350 LF2 to
Duplex ( Procedure no. WPS 04)

Welding was completed on 29.07.08, and visually inspected and found satisfactory.
BiFab planning to perform NDT ( RT & PT) on 30.07.08.
Once NDT result s are satisfied, test coupon will be sent Bodycote for mechanical test.
PQR was performed very professional way by BiFab.
