During my time at John Lewis, I worked in furnishing fabrics. Whilst working
there, a variety of roles in which I had included; responsibility of certain sections
of the department in order to keep it presentable and organised for the
customers, cutting material for clients such as PVC for table cloths etc.,
answering phone calls in relation to availability of certain stock and ordering for
clients, and responsibility of cashing up the tills at the end of the day and taking
the money to another part of the store where all the money was to be collected. I
feel my time at John Lewis increased my confidence a great deal as the
demanding atmosphere of the store kept me busy and increased my skills.

Working as a Christmas Temp at Wilkinson was my first experience of work
at the age of 16, whereby I was able to learn how to manage the tills,
dealing with customers on a day to day basis, and contributing to
managing the organisation of the company by placing stock in the correct
places in the store as well as being given responsibility for tidying up
around the shop and in the warehouse.

INTERESTS
Growing up I have gained a variety of interests in hobbies including; being apart
of the gifted and talented scheme during secondary school whereby I was able to
gain advantages such as studying an early AS Level in Critical Thinking,
swimming where I achieved Bronze, Silver, Gold and Black certificates,
gymnastics in which I entered numerous competitions and achieving a Silver
medal at my best, attending Brownies and Guides as a child whilst gaining a
number of certificates including basic first aid training etc. I also enjoy playing on
the rounders team at university.
