ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS:

I enjoy playing a musical instrument which is the French Horn and I am a
member of the orchestra. I show enthusiasm, perseverance and
determination to succeed as part of a large and complex team. I have
become accustomed to learning from criticism and given advice. I have also
learnt that it is essential to get on with others in order to be successful as a
team.
MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:
I participated in a six month extracurricular activity which I was required to
work in teams and brainstorm to generate business ideas. My team was
assigned a mentor who guided us in developing our business idea into a
viable business plan. During these six months I was able to attend speeches
by successful entrepreneurs which allowed me to learn how things work in
the business world as well as motivate me.
At the end of this event I and my group were required to present our
business idea to a panel of judges consisting of established Venture
Capitalists and Entrepreneurs showing them plans on how we were going
to make our business successful. It required a lot of dedication and work
putting together the finance, business plan and filming to get our point
across successfully.
After presentation of our business idea we were later informed our group
unfortunately wasnt the winner of this year competition, although we
came a close second, there was very strong competition. I received a
certificate of recognition for this and I was reinvigorated and although I
didnt win I am still young and I could still be innovative and come up with
better ideas and one day become the successful entrepreneur I have
always hoped to be.
