Miramichi Police Force (Big Am Challenge 2015)

The 2nd Annual BIG AM CHALLENGE with take place in the beautiful trails at French Fort Cove on Sunday
June 14th, 2015. Last years event drew over 100 participants!!!!
The event is in memory of Sgt. Ambury Big Am Newman, a dedicated police officer for 35 years, and
retired member of the Miramichi Police Force, who passed away on January 3rd, 2008.

EVERYONE WELCOME! - The challenge is intended to raise awareness about the importance of officer
wellness and promote being physically active in our community. Everyone is welcome to participate,
and the experience is meant to be FUN and CHALLENGING for all!!!

CHILDREN UNDER 14 Kids participating in the 1.5K walk/run will receive medals supplied by New
Brunswick Medical Society and RunNB.
RACE DETAILS The race will be held on June 14th, 2015. Same day registration Cove Road Entrance
8:30-9:30am. The run will start at 10:00am. Participants can walk a 1.5km route or challenge
themselves to a 6km trek through the trails.
COST - $10 per person ($5 for children under 14).
