Based on the graph above, it can be seen that from 2006 until 2008, the stock price was an increase
gradually every year. In 2006 the stock price was Rp 5.000,- per share, in 2007 it increased from Rp
5.000,- to Rp 15.000, and in 2008 the stock price was Rp 35.000,- per share (the highest price for 8
years). But from 2008 until 2009, it decreased very dramatically, from Rp 35.000,- per share to Rp
5.000,- per share. It happened because in 2008 the global economic crisis in America was causing
investors hesitate to invest their money to Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI).
After that, the stock price was stable again until in the beginning of January 2014 because of the
companys performance was quite good.

Based the graph above, it can be seen that the stock return of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk changed very
significantly in 2009, due to the global economic crisis in America which it was causing the investor
in PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk decreased. After 2009, the stock return was stable again.
