Argentina, Australia and


Thailand from 2003 to 2009.

Overall, the number of cars in Australia increased slightly while a gradual


decline can be seen in Argentina and Thailand in 6 years. It is noticeable that
the figure of cars made in Thailand was always highest throughout the period
shown.

In 2003, the number of cars created in Argentina began at 235 088 in the first
year and then rose marginally during the following 3 years to 352 759. At the
same time, an upward trend can be seen in Thailand and reached the highest
point in 1 162 356 in 2006. Conversely, there was a slight fall in the number of
cars made in Australia, namely, reduced from 452 163 to 341 268.

In a 3-year period from 2006 to 2009, the number of cars produced in Argentina
continued to increase slightly and peaked at 466 089. By contrast, a downward
trend can be seen in Thailand and Australia. The number of cars manufactured
in Australia had fallen to around 245,000. The year 2009 saw a steadily drop in
the figure for Thailand to 999 963 cars.
