Work and Volunteer Experience

Assistant in Construction
On the weekends, I would consistently help my father, a construction worker, in building houses. I would do much of the less
laborious and heavy work and would help my father hold the beam up while he nailed it or hand him large sheets of plywood.
Facilitator in church activities
On selected Sundays, I would help my Catholic Church, St. Anthony of Padua, in facilitating events such as the Day of the
Dead event in which I was in charge of a booth and taught children as well as parents the importance of this celebration.
Japanese Club
In this club, I learned about the Japanese language and Japanese culture; I was fortunate enough to even cook Japanese food with
my Japanese-speaking instructor and fellow companions.
Bureau
This organization is synonymous to a student body government. In this organization, I represent the junior class by speaking for
them in anything they need.

Skills and Abilities

Coding
Through my participation in a specialized advisory STL (Student Technology Leaders), I have been able to learn and physically
code, in Code Academy, by creating htmls in order to create a CSS website.

and sell stocks and whether or not the company has been doing well during a certain period of time.
