This is my second time that I teach on private school, during my first week in school I
have observed grade 4 with Miss kardal, in this week I learnt many new things, I
learned that children should think and do all their work by themselves to make them
feel responsible for their own work. One of the positive experiences that I had in this
week is while Im teaching my first lesson I was little bet nervous about how the
students will accept and get used to me. So I chose this lesson to be interesting and
fun on the same time one of the strategy that I use in this lesson and it really work is
to let one of the students to be a teacher and let him ask the students question. The
students really like this strategy and most of the students want to try it. This strategy
will help the students be more confidents about themselves.
Moreover, the negative experience that I had in this week is that one of the students
ask me about the spelling of one word and I say it in wrong way, then when he go to
the teacher she correct for him, I really feel bad about it, so I learn that in next time I
need to more careful.
