What is tone?
Tone is the viewpoint of a writer on a particular
subject or feeling about what they have written.
Tone can be formal, informal, serious, comic,
sarcastic, sad, and cheerful etc.
Tone is not explained directly.

For example
1.) Father: We are going on a vacation.
Son: Thats great!!!
--The tone of sons response is very cheerful.
2.) Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
--This has an aggressive tone
3.) The sun is shining brightly in a meadow, let's go out
and play!
--The tone of this persons happy or excited.
