Phagocyte is a large white cell that swallow
bacteria and other.

Phagocytes can easily pass through blood vessel walls into the surrounding tissue and move
towards pathogens or toxins. They then either:

ingest and absorb the pathogens or toxins

release an enzyme to destroy them

Having absorbed a pathogen, the phagocytes may also send out chemical messages that help
nearby lymphocytes to identify the type of antibody needed to neutralise them.

when the pathogen enters your body, white blood cells of your immune system quickly recognise
its foreign antigens. This stimulates specific lymphocytes to grow, multiply and then produce
antibodies that stick to the antigens on the invading pathogens and destroy them.

body and specially in your lymph glands.
Different types of white blood cells respond in one of three different ways to the
presence of a pathogen in the body:

They can produce antitoxins that is the toxins produced by some bacteria from
damaging the cells
Lymphocytes crate the antibodies which attach to the antigens of a particular type
of bacteria or virus. This may destroy the pathogen for a phagocyte to ingest.
Different organisms have different antigens so the different type of the antibody
have to recognise each different type of antigen.
