BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION OF BUILDING PERMIT ARE THE FF:

Locational clearance certificate from the City Planning and Development Office(CPDO),
with the following CPDO-initialed photocopied attachments:
- Transfer certificate of title
- Real estate tax receipt and bill (current year)
- (if applicable) Lease contract/ award notice, deed of sale, memorandum of agreement
or joint venture agreement
- Barangay clearance
- One (1) set of architectural plans

In case the applicant is the registered owner of the lot:


o Certified true copy of OCT/TCT, on file with the Registry of Deeds,
o Tax Declaration, and
o Current Real Property Tax Receipt.
In case the applicant is not the registered owner of the lot, in addition to the above;
duly notarized copy of the Contract of Lease, or Deed of Absolute Sale.

Fire safety correction sheet

Three (3) sets of survey plans, design plans, specifications and other documents
prepared, signed and sealed over the printed names of the duly licensed and registered
professionals.
o Geodetic Engineer, in case of lot survey plans;
o Architect, in case of architectural documents; in case of architectural
interior/interior design documents, either an architect or interior
designer may sign;
o Civil Engineer, in case of civil/structural documents;
o Professional Electrical Engineer, in case of electrical documents;
o Professional Mechanical Engineer, in case of mechanical documents;
o Sanitary Engineer, in case of sanitary documents;
o Master Plumber, in case of plumbing documents;
o Electronics Engineer, in case of electronics documents.

Civil/Structural computation
Project specifications
Bill of materials/ cost estimate

The three (3) sets of plans must be organized in three (3) folders labeled as follows:
- Owner
- Department of Building Official
- City Assessor
