Subject: Regarding defunct service provided and grievances has not


been resolved.
Dear Sir:
On behalf of, and under the instructions from my client Mr. Savalaram
Purushottam Salgaonkar, presently having his address at 1C, 203, Devratna
Nagar, near Chunabhatti Mumbai - 400022, I address you my concerns as
under:
1. My client had ported his mobile service for the numbers 9821537314 and
8652069191 which were in Idea service before porting and which was later
ported to Vodafone service. Vodafone service was activated from the date 25 th
April 2017 on both the aforesaid numbers.

2. After converting to the Vodafone service, my client discovered that he is not


able to receive any incoming calls from all MTNL network.

3. After assessing the situation, my client immediately took an action and made
several complaints on various occasion through different modes which are
stated as below:
 26th April 2017 - Personally visited Vodafone Gallery in Byculla
 26th April 2017 – Telephonic Complaint (Complaint No. 308923260)
 29th April 2017 - Telephonic Complaint (Complaint No. 310147398)
 29th April 2017 – Telephonic Complaint (Complaint No. 310145422)

4. My Client has been trying to resolve the issue right from the first day and he
has attempted several calls to customer care of Vodafone but the issue still
stands unresolved and was not at all attended in the manner which it
should have been from the Vodafone service provider. The Vodafone
customer care failed to look after this matter seriously and did not resolve to
any of these above telephonic complaints.

5. Further to it, my client holds as a position of an eminent Police officer in his


department, and all his communications are mostly with the Government
Officers who expects to be in a constant communication with my client. This
act of non- communication with his officers has caused him tremendous loss
in his work and as well in his status.
I earnestly request you do the needful as soon as possible within 24 hours of
receiving this notice. I would appreciate if my client can be compensated with an
appropriate amount for the loss that he has incurred while using the services. On
failure to resolve aforementioned grievance I would be compelled to file a Consumer
Complaint against the Vodafone India limited.
