At the end of this course, learners will be able to:

identify various 2-D and 3-D shapes
explain various 2-D and 3-D shapes
analyze various 2-D and 3-D shapes
calculate the area, circumference or perimeter of various 2-D shapes
calculate the area, perimeter, and volume of various 3-D shapes

Learner
prerequisites:

Geometry box with ruler, protractor, compass and iPad with ShapeUp! App Installed on the device

Time:

3.5 hours

This course is designed on Merrills First principles (M.F.P.) which consists of the following five principles:
Principle #1: Problem-Centered Learning Engage learners in solving real-world problems.
Principle #2: Activation Relate learning to previous knowledge and experience.
Principle #3: Demonstration Demonstrate what learners must learn rather than simply telling them.
Principle #4: Application Provide learners with practice activities during training.
Principle #5: Integration Prompt learners to apply newly learned knowledge to their cognitive development.
