Ryan
Henry-Wilkinson
helped
celebrate
the
beginning
of
the
198th
Jefferson
County
Fair
Tuesday
by
marching
in
the
annual
Firemans
Parade.
As
the
longest
consecutively
running
county
fair
in
our
country,
the
Jefferson
County
Fair
has
been
a
tradition
not
only
for
Watertown,
but
for
the
entire
North
Country
since
1817,
said
Henry-Wilkinson.
As
a
native
of
Watertown
I
have
very
fond
memories
of
visiting
the
fair
throughout
my
childhood.
Tonight,
I
was
proud
to
help
celebrate
the
start
of
this
annual
event
that
so
many
people
look
forward
to.
Tuesday
marked
the
official
start
of
the
Jefferson
County
Fair,
which
takes
place
through
July
19
in
Watertown.
