Hello First Graders!!!! My name is Mrs.

Yowell and I am thrilled to be your first

grade teacher. This will be my 18th year of
teaching! I have taught 2nd grade,
kindergarten and my favorite first grade!
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin
University and have a Bachelor in
Elementary Education. I have a
specialization in reading and also ESL. I
absolutely love school and cant wait to pass
my passion for learning onto you!
When I am not teaching I love to read
books, eat out with friends and go to the
pool. I am married to Jason and we just
celebrated our anniversary. I have 2
children named Hailey and Kaitlyn. I also
have a wonderful dog named Blitz.

Restaurant: Any, but I love chicken fried
steak!
Favorite Drink: Rootbeer
Sports to watch: Football . Go Cowboys!!
Color: Red, Pink and Purple
Dessert: Chocolate
