    ASWSUV Seventeenth Senate 2007-08 Session
    By Senators Emily Brown and Andrea Wooster
    Date: September 6, 2007

    AN ACT Amending By-law {1010.00 Sub-Section 1010.02}

    BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASWSUV SENATE:

    Sec. 1. That section 1010.02 reads as such: Recognition for WSU Vancouver student organizations is
    granted by the branch campus Clubs Board. The Clubs Board is a Dean level institutional committee
    composed of a faculty member appointed by the Campus Dean, the Advisor to ASWSUV, the ASWSUV
    Clubs Committee Chairperson and one student at large appointed by the ASWSUV President.

    Sec. 2. Be changed to read as such: Recognition for WSU Vancouver student organizations is granted
    by the Office of Student Involvement (OSI). Registered Student Organizations (RSO) are responsible for
    fulfilling the requirements set forth by OSI to be considered active each academic year.

    STATEMENT OF FACT:
    Proposed by Michelle McIlvoy because the Clubs Board does not exist.
