Technical Data Sheet

ALBAFLOW CIR penetration accelerant

PRETREATMENT

USES
Removing air from all liquors used in textile wet processing.
Removing air from fiber assemblies and densely packed or tightly woven materials.
Preventing foam formation or destroying existing foam even in machines with vigorous liquor
circulation.
Particularly recommended in circulating-liquor and jet machine dyeing even in short liquor ratio
processes.

Characteristics

Benefits

Penetration acceleration as the

combined effect of wetting deaeration and foam suppression.

Economic system to improve quality in all wet

processing operations.

High wetting action.

Instantaneous and uniform distribution of liquor

throughout the fiber assembly. Promotes
penetration of treatment liquor into the textile
material.

Immediate total air removal.

Liberates the micro disperse air bubbles

entrapped in the liquor and adhering strongly to
the hydrophobic fibers. Promotes fiber and
surface levelness in dyeing.

Permanent foam prevention.

Foamless removal of air from textile and

treatment liquor even in the presence of
copiously foaming surfactants. Dependable cloth
run no stoppages no damage to goods (chafe
marks creases).

Characteristics

Benefits

Prolonged effectiveness without

topping up in the usual pH and
temperature ranges and good
compatibility with all dye classes
and textile chemicals.

High effectiveness throughout processing. Can

be used for all exhaust processes even in the HT
range. Dependable cost-effective processing.

High stability to shear.

Very suitable for machines with high liquor

turbulence (e.g. short liquor technology).

Good dilutability.

Easy handling, economic metering.

Contains no APEO solvent or

mineral oil readily degradable.

Environmentally sound. No odor in use no traces

of odor on the textile.

ALBAFLOW CIR penetration accelerant

APPLICATIONS
The required amount of ALBAFLOW CIR penetration accelerant should be added to the treatment
liquor as early as possible, before foaming and/or foam-stabilizing substances.
Dissolving/diluting
ALBAFLOW CIR penetration accelerant should be stirred thoroughly by hand, before removal from
the drum. It can ready, be diluted with water. The required amount is simply hand-stirred into water
at 3050C in a vessel of suitable size. High-speed stirrers should not be used.
Avoid boiling up with live steam or using a high-pressure jet to cover the product with water.
Required amount
The amount of ALBAFLOW CIR penetration accelerant required depends mainly on the type of
machinery being used and on the composition of the treatment bath.
