Design an Anti-Nuclear War Poster

You are tasked with creating a poster to commemorate the Bombing of Hiroshima in
Microsoft Word. You have the rest of the lesson to complete this task. Save the poster in
your Student Drive as hiroshimaposter.docx.
Your poster must have:
A Title
A Slogan and/or Message
At least one Image
Your poster should also:
Use the entire page, no white-space.
Use colours that will make the viewer feel emotion.
Your message could be a quote from something important to you:

Follow these steps to explore the

Peace Memorial Park (Heiwakinen Park).


Step 1:

Open a web-browser, and go to:

Step 2:

Search for:

maps.google.com.au

Hiroshima Memorial
Peace Park

You should now be at the Heiwakinen Park


Use the wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out.
Drag the map to move around.

Step 3: At the bottom righthand side of the web page,


drag the 'little yellow man'.

Drag him over to the


Children's

Peace

Monument. Release the little


yellow man over one of the blue
pathways.

You should now be able to see the Children's Peace Monument.


Use the wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out.
Drag the image to look around.
Click the ground when you see an arrow to move about.

You can leave any time, by clicking Back

to Map in the left-hand corner.

Step 4:

Taking Photos:
Open the Start Menu and type in
Snipping
the program.

Step 5:

Tool and open

The screen should become greyed.


Drag a box over the area you want to
take a photo of.
Save the image in your

Student Drive.
Move around and take more photos
from different locations.

Step 6:

Continue exploring the park, search


for the Atomic

Bomb

Dome, and take more photos.


You can also walk around the

Peace
Memorial Hall
and see the exhibits.
