SCVCS High School Book Club Needs YOU!!!

The SCVCS High School Book Club meets monthly to enjoy open discussion about the 2015-2016 YABA Nominees. The SCVCS
High School Book Club is open to all students enrolled in high school courses. Ms. Sasser is the teacher sponsor for the high
school book club and will host book club meetings on location at Barnes and Noble located at Market Commons in Myrtle
Beach, SC. The SCVCS high school book club will hold the first meeting on Tuesday, August 25th at 3:00pm. The club will meet
online in the high school clubhouse and face to face at Barnes and Noble in Myrtle Beach. The September novel will be
chosen by club members during the August meeting. The book club will issue challenges to students and teachers to read all
the 2015-2016 YABA books during the school year. In February 2016, SCVCS students and teachers will cast ballots with the
SC Association for School Librarians for the best YABA nominee. Check out the 2015-2016 YABA list.
