John’s Fresh Water Trout

John Radde’s famous grilled fresh water trout from Lake Granby CO

Ingredients
Clean fillets of fresh trout with skins

Ingredients for Marinade


1 cup olive oil
½ cup teriyaki sauce
1 t. soy
½ cup maple syrup
dash salt
dash pepper
garlic salt
½ lemon juice
2 crushed cloves garlic
Basil
Oregano

Directions for Marinade


1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl
2. Put trout fillets and marinade in 1 gallon plastic bag
3. Marinade fish up to 24 hrs.

Directions for Grilling


1. Sear flesh side of fillet for 2 minutes on grill
2. Turn fillet over and cook on Med/High for about 15 more minutes
3. When fillets are done leave skin on the grill and server immediately

TIP: Fish should separate easily from the skin when done. Clean grill later.
