Working of Train Barrier

Asupplyofsixvoltisproducedbytransformertomotorbytwo
switchesandthismotorisconnectedtoapulleywiththehelpof
beltandthispulleyhavetwomorewheelsandthesewheelsare
connectedtothebarrierswiththehelpofstring.Butweuseiron
wireinspiteofthestringincaseofmorepoweredmotorwhen
thetrainispassesovertheseswitches,thentheyarepressedand
motorstarttorevolvingclockwiseandthismotorisconnectedto
thepulleyandwhenpulleyrevolvesthenthewheelslosesthe
string.Whenstringisloosedthenbarrierfalldown.Whentrain
reachesatfewdistancethentwomoreswitchesareplacedand
whentrainpassesoverthem,thenthemotorrevolvesanticlock
wiseandstretchthestringandroundeditandthebarrierswhich
arejoinwiththepulleymovesup.Inthiswaythebarriermoves

up.Inordertorevolvethemotorinanticlockwiseinthesecond
switchthecircuitiskeptreversedtofirst.
