In Partial Fulfillment for the Requirements in Research 8 Submitted by: TEAM MA ACOSTA, Angela Bienne BALLELOS, Carylle Alex DELA CRUZ, June EVA, Mary Elisha Khryss I. TITLE: Use of Yakult Bottles for Varnish II. QUESTIONS: 1. Can Yakult bottles be a feasible ingredient for commercial varnish? 2. What properties of Yakult bottles can make it as a feasible organic varnish? III. PURPOSE: The main purpose of this research is to dig up ideas for safer but quality varnish out of organic wastes such as the Yakult bottles. This organic material are often found on garbage bins, so through this research, we can create a safer, but quality varnish out of the organic wastes. IV. HYPOTHESIS: We think that Yakult bottles can be a feasible organic shoe polish because of its physical characteristics and scientific applications that may help in the maximization of the organic wastes feasibility as varnish. V. MATERIALS:
Yakult bottles Unleaded Gasoline Metal Container Distilled Water
Hard Glass Container
VI. PROCEDURE: 1. Collect empty Yakult bottles.
2. Wash Yakult bottles using running water.
3. On a metal container put gasoline the put Yakult bottles, mix and mix until Yakult bottles totally dissolves. 4. Put different amounts of water to create a proportion. 4. Put the mixture on the Hard Glass Container. VII. REFERENCES: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polystyrene
