• Scheduling of all patients
• Answering phones, directing calls as appropriate
• Maintaining patient medical records from beginning of therapy to discharge
to assure notes/letters are done appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Authorization and verification of insurance
• Patient charges in to computer
• Transcription when necessary
• ICD-9, CPT and HCPS coding
• Work with the billing/insurance department to insure payment
• All aspects of setting up and maintaining front office
