Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV)

In the era of the robotic age, close support in the battle field by the
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) plays a crucial role. Hence as a part of AVD
project we are planning to do our project in the design of a unmanned
combat aerial vehicle (UCAV).

Armaments : 1500 - 2000 kg (mainly AAMs +one AEWACS killer+ 2 air to

surface missiles)

Range

: 15-20 hrs
: 3000 km

Operational ceiling : 15km

Engine (preference) : turbofan with afterburner

All the requirements are drawn from the Indian geographic and defense
strategic point of view.
Armaments weights are calculated from the typical armaments used by the
IAFs 4.5 generation air superiority fighter Sukhoi Su-30mkI.
