Term 1 2010
 In Numeracy I am working
at Stage 6.

I am really proud of my improvements in

knowing whole numbers to the
nearest
10,100,1000 and using Excel to graph
data.
In Writing I am working at Level
2.

I am most proud of my
improvements in using
interesting language to hook
the reader in so they will want
to read on.
In Religious Education I am
Learning about the life
of Jesus!

In my life this means I need

to show
manakitanga (respect)
at home and school.
 In Reading I am learning to
make connections.
I do this by reading the text and
thinking what it would feel
and smell like and making
links with what I already know
about the topic.
 In my learning I am most
proud of
my maths because I keep it
neat and it is my favourite
subject
and I find it easy and fun.
 Some of the tools I use
to help me in my
learning are Google, books and
donuts. These help me by
giving me ideas to start my
work and do my best.
 Some of the new opportunities I
have taken on in my class and
school are sport co-ordinator,
school cricket, tidy kiwis windows,
y5 and y6 triathlon, swimming
sports, Mathletics, Weet-bix
triathlon.
 I show that I am following
Jesus’ example of Love as a
SUPER Achiever when I show
enthusiasm
for my sport by never giving up
and I try to complete my work
on time.
