The meter is used to measure turbidity in water samples after calibrating properly. Measuring unit
of turbidity is NTU (nephelometric turbidity units).

Below are the steps to be followed in measuring turbidity of a given water sample.

Step 1 - Insert the sample container into the cell of the turbidity meter
Step 2 - Power on using the Power on/off button (see Figure 2).

Step 3 - Press the Read button as indicated in Figure 3.

Step 4 - Wait until the final reading is displayed (Figure 4), after that take the displayed reading
as the final reading (Figure 5).

DO Meter
The meter is used to measure dissolved oxygen in water samples after calibrating properly. There,
two scales are used to give dissolved oxygen reading; percentages (%) and mg/l.
In the following steps, measuring of dissolved oxygen of a given water sample is explained.

Step 1 - Get the water sample in a sample container (beaker), and sink the probe in the water
sample.
Step 2 - Press the Power on/off button (see Figure 6).
