An Application for the post of Internal Audit Executive
I am writing in response to the advertisement for the position of Internal Audit Executive with your
company as advertised in the Jobstreet.com dated 12 May 2015.
I have received a certificate of completion in Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with honors from
Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). My formal education and working experience have provided me with
the skills required for the position.
To fulfill my degree requirement, I have learnt a lot about auditing and accounting field. Some of the
courses I took such as AUD500 and FAR500 have given me a strong knowledge in auditing and
accounting field.
Other than that, l worked as an intern at Nava Associates in Kluang, Johor for about 6 months starting
from February 2016 until July 2016. During the industrial training programme, I was able to apply my
theoretical knowledge to a practical situation. My practical experience has familiarized me with many
challenges involved in auditing preparation.
My other involvement in extra-curricular activities at the university also has strengthened my
interpersonal skills, which gave me insight into how I can look with all kinds of people. As you notice
from the resume that my experience as a netball teams captain has taught me to acquire strong
leadership qualities and how to communicate as well work with people from all walks of life. I am
certain that my work experience and involvement in extra-curricular activities will be extremely relevant
to the position of an Internal Audit Executive at your company.
