Robbery-At approximately 4:00am on 03-21-10, Danville Police responded to Purdum
Woods, 1575 Richmond Blvd., in reference to a reported robbery. A female victim reports
that she was walking down the steps to her apartment when eight (8) Black Males
assaulted and robbed her. The victim was hit in the face and knocked to the ground.
After she was on the ground, the victim reported that the suspects continued to hit and
kick her, at which time she released her purse which contained cash , a credit card and
other personal items. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim was
transported to the Danville Regional Medical Center where she was treated for her
injuries.
