19.Game Cancellation Procedure
These issues need to be discussed between coaches. After the decision is made if
the game will be cancelled or rescheduled, then that information is to be passed to
the game scheduler using the website "Request Schedule Change" Form. Then the
changes will be updated on the website so the number of games is kept track for the
game cap. The game scheduler does not find ice for the games to be rescheduled.
The rules developed around game cancellations.
a. Cancellations are coach to coach. Notice is important as teams go to
Jamborees and lots of notice means the other team can get another
exhibition game lined up.
b. If a rink is open and the visiting team cannot make it, then it is at the
discretion of the home Association to provide a make up game or not.
c. If a rink is closed, then it is the home Associations responsibility to provide
a make up game.
d. Email the game scheduler if a game does not get played.
e. Email the game scheduler with a replacement ice time for any make up
games so the schedule will get updated. This allows the new game to be
played under the Exhibition Series Permit number. (see web page)
Just a reminder it is the home teams association responsibility to arrange refs and
have game sheets.

20. Regulation 19 must be followed.
