Tell us about yourself.

I want very much to make my first professional step a successful one. I am very much inclined in data
analytics and consulting projects, because I feel data driven decision are hard and important in a
companys success. I have a great desire to learn, and during my project of BAJA where we were
designing an all-terrain vehicle, I was able to successfully apply my knowledge of data analysis and
modelling that I learned in the classroom. I enjoy team projects and have successfully led some of
these projects. Everything I've read about the company and what I've learned about this position
during my little research has only reinforced my desire to work with Axtria. I'm much focused and I
believe I have what it takes to be successful in this domain.

Describe a situation where you displayed leadership skills.

Every year a team of 25 members represents IIT BHU in international racing competition held in
Indore. I was team lead for the year 2014. Team comprised of students from various department
across all 4 years. Objective was design and manufacture a fully functional single seated 4 wheel allterrain vehicle. My responsibility was to manage timings of each member of team, scheduling
operations of manufacturing, making weekly reviews for the Faculty in charge, procuring sponsorships
and coordinating between different departments of the team to make a steady progress thought the
project span of 8 months. We successfully completed the manufacturing and won 3 rd place among 120
teams for maneuverability.

Performed data analysis for ergonomic investigation of natural foot placement,

comfortable range of motion to reduce foot fatigue, optimum seat inclination,
and steering wheel position to reduce backache and shoulder strain. Data

collection and modelling approach resulted in best ergonomics for a ninety-fifth

percentile male and fifth percentile female category.

Design and manufacturing of independent suspension unit for a 4 wheel single

seated all-terrain vehicle.

Failure investigation of primary and secondary springs of 16 tonnes railway

coaches.
