Waverlys Turkey Trot!

Waverly is pleased to be involved in a variety of food drives this

holiday season. As has been the custom, we are collecting nonperishable
food items for families in need. This is in addition to our Thanksgiving
Food Drive where each class has been assigned a specific food to bring in.
Waverly will be also be hosting our 2nd annual Turkey Trot! This turkey trot
will take place on November 24th, 2015 on the Waverly Soccer Fields.
All food donations must be collected by November 23rdth!! The class
who has the most food collected will win a bagel party!
Please have your child wear the appropriate color on the day of the Trot:
5th- blue
4th- green
3rd- black

2nd- red
1st- orange
K- yellow

The Turkey Trot will follow the schedule below:

Turkey Trot Times:
Kindergarten 12:15
1st grade 12:30
2nd grade 2:45 (because of the field trip)
3rd grade 1:30
4th grade 2:00
5th grade 2:30
Students in kindergarten second grade will be participating in a 400 meter
fun run. Grades 3-5 will be participating in a one mile competitive run.
The top three boys and top three girls in grades 3-5 will receive a turkey
trot trophy.
