girl who is so smart and funny and curious and beautiful. This job has taught me so
much. Not only have I learned patience, and leadership skills, but it has also taught
me how to care and love in an entirely new way. I hope to continue this job
throughout my senior year.

year with the organization Young Life. I ended up loving it so much that I kept
coming back. Breakfast is served every Tuesday and Thursday morning. I try and
make it whenever I can, sometime twice a week, on average about once every two
weeks.

From August 3-17 I was able to go to Catalonia Spain and work at a camp for middle
and high school students. My jobs as work crew included setting up for meals,

My job on media staff had me making the "English Conversation Video" which
comprised of me teaching the kids the song Shut Up and Dance With Me by Walk the

This summer I got the experience to go and do work crew at a Young Life camp in
Catalunya, Spain. Everyday I would serve the campers, clean up and wash dishes, set
up for the next meal, clean bathrooms, and help out around camp. This was one of
the most incredible experiences of my life, not only was I submerged in true spanish
culture, but I was serving others and making life long friendships while doing it. Also
while I was there I was in charge of making the English Conversation music video,
this was a song we taught the kids to help improve their english, then we would film
for a week and they would get to watch the video on the last day of camp.

KAHS News

KAHS News is my schools news media program. The first two years in the program
you learn about storytelling and journalism, as well as how to use industry standard
equipment and editing programs. Then the third year in the program you are able to
showcase your work weekly to the student body and staff, every month you are
assigned one news package as well as one funny short intro video. Then the last year
in the program you only produce short videos, mostly of the comedic variety but
students are free to do any genre.

always been interested in cameras. When I got my first camera in 7th grade, it was a
gift that really symbolized my coming of age. I still have that camera and use it

I started the baking club, which meets at my house after school once a week, so to
make new friends and form new bonds with old ones. This club was for peers with a
common interest in baking, who are interested in honing in on different baking skills
as well as trying new recipes and coming up with their own.
STN Video Conference in San Diego, CA

This was a 4 day long trip to San Diego for a film convention where my High School
was competing in the commercial category. I was editor as well as sound for the
video.

White House Student Film Fest finalist for the Archer Hadley Story
Grade 11
The Archer Hadley Story was one of 10 finalists for the White House Student Film
Festival, for winning this me and my peers all got to fly out to DC and be honored at
the White House by President Obama himself. By far this was the most amazing
experience of my life. Not only did I get to shake hands with the President himself,
but also my film was played in the East Room of the White House in front of some of
my favorite celebrities.

Myself and four other peers made a short documentary entitled The Archer Hadley
Story, this was one of the many awards it won.
